Pull Over! Okay, police officers may suffer from a bad reputation from time to time, but the profession is truly a respected one, and masqueraders of all ages can enjoy wearing police costumes. Dress your young son or daughter in a toddler trooper, sheriff or officer costume for some of the cutest mug shots imaginable. Gentlemen can certainly take the law into their own hands at any party wearing a detective or police costume, and ladies can write their own ticket in a sexy police costume (think Reno 911!) that may not be illegal but certainly is criminal. Handcuffs, belts, clubs and hats will compliment your law enforcement ensemble when you decide to wear a police costume. And if you happen to be more subdued as to how you subdue lawbreakers, turn back the pages of time when Sherlock Holmes canvassed the streets in search of Professor Moriarty. Regardless, it is not a crime to wear a police costume this Halloween or at your next party. You are free to go.
